As she said during the broadcast on her Facebook, for two days the hospital management did not allow anyone to see Saakashvili, but on Wednesday they allowed the Ukrainian consul to visit. “He is in critical condition, he is lying practically all the time, he has neurological seizures, he does not receive medical assistance. Unfortunately, now his condition is very weak, and this is not a joke, ”Yasko said.
Let us remind you that Saakashvili has been in a hospital in Gori since November 20 because of a hunger strike, which he had been holding since October 1, after he was arrested in Tbilisi and imprisoned.
On Monday evening, Saakashvili lost consciousness after representatives of the penitentiary system familiarized him with the decision of the Justice Ministry to transfer from the hospital in Gori to the Rustavi prison. The representative of the Public Defender of Georgia, Anna Dzhaniashvili, said that Saakashvili had “very high blood pressure, in connection with which the doctors of the hospital decided to suspend the transfer of the ex-president.
