Residents of the Vladimir region complained en masse about power outages in winter. As stated in the network petition addressed to Governor Alexander Avdeev, the situation was created by inaction on the part of top managers of the branch of PJSC Rosseti Center and Volga Region – the Vladimirenergo company.
The residents of Vladimir said that “long-term emergency and planned outages” of electricity in the region occur “daily”. Because of this, the work of water stations, telecommunication systems and heating boilers stops, and in residential buildings they sit without light, heat and the Internet.
“During periods of low and particularly low temperatures, a prolonged lack of electricity, heat, water and communications can directly threaten the life and health of citizens living in the affected settlements,” the appeal says.
Its compilers also indicate that voltage surges disable electrical appliances and this hits the wallets of citizens who are forced to urgently look for a replacement for the one that broke down as a result of blackouts.
In the opinion of residents, “the distribution grid complex, which meets the needs of the region’s socio-economic development, is in an extremely unsatisfactory operational state.” The situation has turned into an “emergency” and “can lead to a social explosion,” the desperate people emphasize, asking the head of the region to influence the power engineers.
