Roxana Menéndez, a neighbor and friend of Carreño, indicated that during the entire journey to the Marbella cemetery, in the La Pradera citadel (east of Manta), the dog did not move away from the coffin, although it was in the arms of the brother of the bride of Carreño, who was injured after Sunday’s accident.
“He (Scoty) was always there, even when the coffin arrived, the little dog was always there, they took him to the funeral, he was always carried by Richard Eduardo’s girlfriend’s brother. Before arriving at the cemetery, they put the little dog in the coffin ”, declared Menéndez.
