Poroshenko promised to “give answers to all questions” in January

Ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, against whom a case of treason has been brought up in the country, is going to return to Kiev in the first half of January and “answer all questions.”

As Poroshenko said on the air of the Ukrainian “Fifth Channel”, he will return “according to his schedule”, which “is not going to coordinate” with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. According to the politician, after his return, he “will give answers to all questions, both about high treason and about the financing of terrorism.”

We will remind, Poroshenko flew to Europe immediately after the employees of the State Bureau of Investigation of Ukraine tried to hand him a summons for interrogation in a criminal case on illegal supplies of coal from the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics not controlled by the authorities of Ukraine. The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine announced its intention to petition for the arrest of Poroshenko upon arrival in the country. At the same time, he will be left with the opportunity to remain at large upon posting a bail of UAH 1 billion ($ 37 million), the department specified.
