Two alleged criminals were burned in the Leonidas Plaza sector, in Bahía de Caráquez, Sucre canton, Manabí province. The incident occurred on the afternoon of Saturday, December 25.
According to preliminary versions, the two subjects would have attempted against the life of a citizen in that area. In their flight they were intercepted by several residents of that sector, who beat them.
Minutes later, they doused gasoline on the bodies of the two people and lit a fire. This scene was recorded in several videos that went viral on social networks.
Members of the National Police went to the site to verify the incident. They surrounded the area where the charred bodies lay.
