Recipe of the heated one that we will enjoy

The banquet that we serve ourselves in these December parties always leaves room to repeat something the next day (or even two days later).

We all talk about the heated Christmas or New Year’s Eve, there is no family that does not do it and it is that we regularly have part of the dinner, like turkey or pork, the traditional meats of the time. The right thing to do is to cool them as quickly as possible, keep them in the refrigerator and use them in the next 2 or 3 days at most.

The heated is almost a tradition, You could already say that it is part of our Christmas menu, but we can always make it an exquisite dish if we prepare it correctly. It’s not just about microwaving and serving, that’s why I present to you a very simple rice that will be the best heated for after Christmas.

Ingredients:

– Meats that we have left for the good night, pork, turkey, chicken

– Vegetable oil

– 2 pearl onions

– 8 cloves of garlic

– 2 roasted peppers

– 1 pound of uncooked rice

– 2 liters of chicken broth or water

– 1 tablespoon turmeric

– ½ tablespoon of paprika

– Freshly ground black pepper

– Olive oil

– Chives

Elaboration:

– Chop the onion and garlic very finely, then brown them in oil in a large frying pan or paella pan.

– Cut the meats into cubes and add to the fry, stir well.

– Make a puree with the roasted peppers and then add them to the mixture.

– Add to the rice, stir, season with salt, turmeric and cover with the liquid; cook for 15 minutes until the rice has absorbed the liquid.

– Add the paprika, black pepper, olive oil and bake at 200 degrees for 7 minutes until the rice forms a crust.

– Chop fresh chives and add at the end. The result will be the best heated you have ever tried.
