The Prosecutor’s Office of the Leningrad Region is checking information about violations in the organization of meals for schoolchildren in the Volkhov District.
According to the press service of the department, an assessment will be made of “the fulfillment of the requirements of the legislation on the contract system.” In addition, the inspectors will assess how the sanitary and epidemiological standards are being observed.
The reason for the check was a video recorded by employees of school canteens in the Volkhov district. Thus, they informed the head of the region, Alexander Drozdenko, that they refused to work with JSC “Kalina” (the former name of the company – “Base of closed institutions”). And in the event that this issue is not resolved, the school employees are ready to quit their jobs at the beginning of the new year.
As the authors of the video confirmed to the Rosbalt correspondent, before these partners “, to put it mildly, did not live up to trust – they did not fulfill their salary obligations and even owed the employees of school canteens.” They also assessed negatively the quality of the supplied products.
Local authorities promise to deal with the situation, but the administration of the Volkhovsky district claims that they do not know anything about the delay and non-payment of salaries. The head of the administration, Aleksey Britsun, hastened to inform the journalists of the regional media that there were no problems with the competitive selection, it was organized strictly according to the 44th Federal Law. He also said that the prosecutor’s office will be provided with documents on this case in the shortest possible time, and conclusions will be made based on the results of the audit.
We will remind, earlier Rospotrebnadzor and the prosecutor’s office checked the condition of the emergency school in the Vyborg district of the Leningrad region.
