Labrador puppy helped detect cancerous tumors in a child

Thanks to the prank of a Labrador puppy, a 10-year-old girl was diagnosed with two cancerous tumors. The child was saved. About this, as reported by “Dr. Peter”, reports the Manchester Evening News.

A girl from Liverpool was playing with her pet, and the dog decided to jump onto the girl’s lap. A few hours later, a 10-year-old child developed a large, painful bump on his calf. The parents decided to show their daughter to the doctor. At first, the doctors decided that it was a bruise and suggested applying an ice pack to the sore spot, but the bump did not disappear.

The parents went to another doctor. He, after conducting X-rays, CT and MRI, discovered that the child had Ewing’s sarcoma – an extremely aggressive type of cancer that develops from bone tissue. In addition to a tumor in her leg, the girl was diagnosed with the spread of cancer in her lungs.

She had to undergo 14 courses of chemotherapy in just seven months. As a result, both tumors receded.

Now the girl is undergoing a rehabilitation course, and already an adult dog is helping the mistress to come to her senses.
