22 more items have been added to the list of vital and essential medicinal products (VNLP). The order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, according to the government’s press service. The list now includes 808 drugs.
Let us recall that the costs of purchasing these drugs are financed from the federal budget, they should be given to patients free of charge.
The new positions in the list are as follows: drugs for the treatment of spinal muscular atrophy (risdiplam), breast cancer (talazoparib), cystic fibrosis (ivacaftor + lumacaftor), multiple sclerosis (cladribine, syponimod), for the treatment of multiple myeloma (isatuximab, pomalidomide), hepatitis B (bulevirtide), pulmonary tuberculosis (delamanid), nosocomial infections (polymyxin B), and HIV (bictegravir + tenofovir alafenamide + emtricitabine, doravirin + lamivudine + tenofovir).
For five drugs previously included in this list, new dosage forms have been added. This applies to pancreatin, morphine, carbetocin, phosphazide, triptorelin.
The prices for these drugs are regulated by the state, and beneficiaries can receive them free of charge on prescription.
The same decree expanded the list of drugs for the treatment of high-cost nosologies. It includes four new drugs needed for patients with multiple sclerosis, hemophilia and multiple myeloma.
