“Hear Echo”: a new collection of merch has been released in St. Petersburg, which speaks for the owner louder than any words

The GEN Store has released a new collection of “Listen Echo” merch – T-shirts and sweatshirts that will speak for the owner louder than any words. The message for the collection is based on top phrases from the St. Petersburg Echo of Moscow releases – the recognizable sound of the 91.5 FM wave, the radio station’s press service reports.

Collaboration with the artist Elizaveta Berkutova added meaning to the words. The author’s style of her works is a study of the consumer society and synthetic naturalness. All of this found a place in the prints for the “Hear Echo” merch collection.

“The Russian language is rich in words, but sometimes they are not enough to say something important. Especially when you want to show, not say. And then the one who can put an artistic component on the word comes to the rescue, – notes the team of “Echo of Petersburg”. – What is needed for cooperation to yield excellent results? So that all participants look in the same direction and make efforts along a single given vector. And when working on the collection of merch “Listen Echo” it turned out that way, because all the participants in the collab have similar interests. “

Let us remind you that Elizaveta Berkutova is an artist from St. Petersburg. In her vision of art, she is not limited to the structure of one genre, she works with different media: installation, video art, 3d, photography, NFT, digital art, augmented reality. She integrates her projects in the context of the digital age. The main areas of the artist’s interests are the analysis of topics such as the inner desires of a person, the construction of memory, freedom, appreciation and cognition of corporeality and shame. And this is her art.

Echo of Petersburg is a radio station for which it is important not only to broadcast news, but also to get to the bottom of the matter, communicate with witnesses, experts and, together with others, speak up for freedom. Their art is in words, which are still sometimes lacking, and that is why the “Hear Echo” merch appeared.
