Two dead people were found in a lagoon of the Cajas National Park, located in the west of Cuenca, capital of Azuaya, this Thursday afternoon.
The Second Lieutenant of the Fire Department, Freddy Coronado, confirmed that the fatalities are two young people: a man of approximately 20 years old and a woman of 18. She were floating in the lagoon and around her were some clothing and backpacks.
He stated that an identity document was found but that was left in the hands of the National Police for investigations.

The bodies were taken to the Cuenca Forensic Center around 5:45 p.m. and the arrival of the relatives of the dead youths was expected.
