Consumer prices for gasoline in Russia on average from December 14 to 20 increased by 0.2%, as in the previous week, after rising by 0.4%, and since the beginning of this year, retail gasoline has risen in price by 8.7%. Such data are provided by the Federal State Statistics Service.
At the same time, Rosstat recorded an increase in the cost of fuel in 58 centers of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, and the highest prices rose in Cherkessk – by 1.5%.
In general, the department points out, by December 20, the national average consumer price of 1 liter of gasoline was 50.08 rubles. (an increase of 11 kopecks relative to December 13).
The retail price of AI-92 gasoline increased by 10 kopecks during the reporting period. up to RUB 47.06 AI-95 gasoline went up in price by 12 kopecks. up to RUB 50.94 The price of AI-98 gasoline also went up by 12 kopecks. up to RUB 59.12
A liter of diesel fuel as of December 20 cost an average of 53.81 rubles. – compared to December 13, its price jumped by 17 kopecks.
Rosstat also states that from December 13 to 19, the country produced 817.7 thousand tons of motor gasoline (a decrease of 4.1% compared to the previous week). In addition, 1 million 594.8 thousand tons of diesel fuel were produced (plus 0.5%).
Let us also remind that, according to Rosstat, the prices of gasoline producers in Russia on average decreased in October this year by 1.2% compared to the previous month, when they fell by 2%. At the same time, on an annual basis, wholesale prices jumped 24% in October after rising 21.6% in September, and soared by 31.8% YTD (vs. December 2020).
Consumer prices for gasoline in the country on average increased in October by 0.6% in comparison with the previous month, and in annual terms – by 7.1% (since the beginning of the year – by 6.9%).
