The company that was affected by a structural fire at its facilities, early Tuesday, on the road to Calacalí, in the north of Quito, reported that three of the four workers who were injured have already been discharged. Meanwhile, one of the victims remains in critical condition.
The Envapress company, dedicated to the manufacture of personal and home care products, wipes and aerosols, issued a statement in which he mentioned that he will be vigilant of the evolution of the worker who is still delicate.
The fire occurred at the aerosol plant and was controlled by the capital’s firefighters, he explained.

“It is the first time in 24 years that Envapress has faced an accident at its plants. We work under very strict safety standards and we have all the permits, both governmental and municipal, up to date. In addition, we have an efficient fire control system in our plants, which has allowed us to control this event in a timely manner, ”the statement reads.
Likewise, the company indicated that the respective evaluations are being carried out to determine the magnitude of the damage.
The emergency was reported at 01:53 on December 21, through the Integrated Security System ECU911. Due to the magnitude of the flames, 55 firefighters and more than 20 assistance vehicles arrived at the scene of the accident. (I)
