St. Petersburg may be included in the number of participating regions in the experiment on the introduction of an automated simplified taxation system. The corresponding appeal of the St. Petersburg deputies to the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin and the head of the government Mikhail Mishustin, will be considered at a plenary session in the Legislative Assembly of the city on Wednesday.
So far, the federal bill proposes to conduct a tax experiment until 2027 only in the capital, Moscow and Kaluga regions and in the Republic of Tatarstan.
“The goal is to simplify the accounting reporting for small and medium-sized businesses as much as possible,” explained Alexander Belsky, speaker of the St. Petersburg parliament. – We are talking about the complete automation of these processes, which excludes the most expensive element from them – a qualified specialist – an accountant. The calculation of the tax will be carried out by authorized bodies on the basis of data from the entrepreneur’s personal account on the Internet or his bank accounts. ”
The regime can be used by organizations that employ up to 5 people, and the annual income does not exceed 60 million rubles. The Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg is confident that the transition to the simplified taxation system will affect every fifth citizen of St. Petersburg – according to estimates, this is how many people are employed in small business.
Earlier, Rosbalt wrote that from January 1, Russia will abolish tax benefits for owners of unused land plots.
