This Wednesday, from 08:00, the exhumation of the body of the Manabi model will take place
One of the relatives of Naomi Arcentales, for which an investigation is being carried out after her death in a building in Manta, issued a statement indicating that unidentified people tried to desecrate the grave of the young woman buried in the Pedernales cemetery on Monday night. .
The announcement was made hours after it was known that this Wednesday, from 08:00, the exhumation of the woman’s body will be carried out, to find out if her death was actually caused by suicide or was by murder.
The autopsy carried out after his death, which occurred on December 12, indicated that the death of the young man from Manabi was by hanging. “Apparently they want to steal Naomi’s body in order to eliminate or disappear evidence, with which it would be possible to determine the responsibility of the aggressor,” wrote Jimmy Zambrano Arcentales on his Facebook account.
Given this, Zambrano asked family and friends to carry out a surveillance until Wednesday morning when the autopsy will be carried out.
Zambrano suggested that last night’s was not the first intention to desecrate Naomi’s grave. This Tuesday, families and groups held a sit-in in Manta demanding justice.
Sara Sabando, the mother of the young woman, asked that Juan Carlos I., a Manabí prosecutor (currently suspended) and the partner of her first-born daughter, show her face so that her death is clarified.
He added that after reviewing his chats they observed that he had been abused allegedly at the hands of his partner.
Sabando denied that his daughter’s body showed stab injuries. Luigi García, a lawyer for the Arcentales family, indicated that on Tuesday a person who was there the night of Naomi’s death gave statements.
The jurist indicated that they have many doubts and inconsistencies after Naomi’s death, and that they hope to clarify with the investigation carried out by the State Attorney General’s Office. (I)
