People who were inside a home in the Leonidas Proaño parish of the Montecristi canton were saved from being hit with bullets. They managed to avoid the bullets detonated by those who came to the place to attack them.
The event was recorded on Saturday afternoon in this parish adjacent to the Manta canton. After that attack, the vehicle in which the alleged perpetrators of the shots were allegedly mobilized was incinerated about two kilometers from where the incident occurred.

“There were shots in a building, there are no injured people, possibly that fact is related to an incinerated vehicle that with intelligence personnel we are already gathering evidence,” said Samuel Rodríguez, chief of police operations in the Manta district.
