The Times: Prince Harry ready to return to court to support sick father

Prince Harry, who lives with his wife, actress Meghan Markle, and two children in the United States, is ready to return to his duties as a member of the royal family while his father, King Charles III of Great Britain, is undergoing treatment for cancer.

According to the British newspaper The Times, citing sources, after the news of the illness of the reigning monarch, Prince Harry had several “warm” conversations with his father and a personal meeting, during which he told him about his intention to return to the court and “correct the rift.”

“On all practical levels, it makes perfect sense for the family to come together to support the king while he is ill,” the newspaper’s source said.

The publication adds that for Prince Harry to officially return to court duties, a plan must be drawn up, agreed upon with the king.

It was previously reported that Charles III’s eldest son, Prince William of Wales, will take on some of the king’s public duties during his treatment.

Let us recall that on February 5, Buckingham Palace announced that doctors discovered cancer in Charles III during an examination after surgery due to an enlarged prostate gland. It later became known that the British authorities were developing an action plan in the event that King Charles III, who was diagnosed with cancer, dies.
