A special center is being created for the Armed Forces of Ukraine: the newspaper Pais revealed the NATO plan

The Ukrainian army is being prepared to be fully compatible with North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) standards. The Spanish newspaper Pais writes about this with reference to diplomats.

The media claims that NATO countries are planning to open a center for training the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The idea is being discussed in detail at a meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels (February 14-15). The decision is due to be made at the NATO summit in Washington in July 2024.

It is noted that the new project will complement the training mission of the European Union. “It is designed to help Kiev not only carry out military training for its military personnel, but also teach them the strategy of military management,” follows from the material, excerpts from RIA Novosti.

Where exactly the center will be located is not specified. It is also unknown whether the instructors will be based at the center permanently or sent there for a certain period of time.

Last year, the G7 countries signed a declaration on providing Ukraine with security guarantees – Ukraine was promised the development of the defense industry, the exchange of intelligence data, and the transfer of modern weapons.
