Singer Lolita Milyavskaya, who found herself at the center of a scandal after participating in a “naked” party at the Moscow club “Mutabor” in December last year, spoke out about the reason for the mass cancellation of her concerts in different cities of Russia.
The artist published a video message on her Telegram channel. Lolita stated that social activists who consider her “insufficiently repentant” have approached the authorities with demands to cancel her performances.
At the same time, the artist recalled how during various armed conflicts she visited hospitals for many years and helped patients financially. The performer noted that she always preferred to hide this fact, but no longer considers it necessary to remain silent.
“I am one of the first who sang concerts in Donetsk and Lugansk,” Lolita emphasized, adding that “grown men cried.” “My weapon is going on stage, this is what I dedicated 40 years of my life to,” the artist concluded.
Earlier, in 10 cities of the Moscow region, Milyavskaya’s concerts, planned as part of her anniversary tour, were canceled.
Meanwhile, the day before it became known that another participant in the “naked” party, singer Philip Kirkorov, brought humanitarian aid to the DPR and sang in front of hospital patients in Gorlovka.
