TV presenter Dana Borisova was recently hospitalized after her daughter found her unconscious, StarHit reports.
As noted in the material, relatives had the idea that the cause could be the use of prohibited substances, the dependence on which Borisova overcame several years ago. She experienced dizziness, nausea, tachycardia, blurred vision, and tremors.
However, it turned out that the reason for the deterioration of the woman’s condition was a certain drug, which, as they say on the Internet, helps to lose weight.
“I injected a drug for diabetics twice a week. It’s very fashionable, many people lose weight on it – I didn’t succeed with diets, so I tried this,” Borisova said in the studio of the Andrei Malakhova program.
According to the doctor, no prohibited substances were found in the woman’s blood, but tests showed low levels of protein and glucose, which are dangerous to health. According to the specialist, Borisova should stop trying to lose weight in this way, and also undergo additional tests, including laboratory tests, to rule out a neurological disease, one of the symptoms of which may be tremor.
