Endocrinologist Ekaterina Young refuted the three most common myths about vitamins.

The specialist first of all criticized the statement that it is impossible to combine different vitamins in one dose. Young, in her Telegram channel, called excessive focus on their compatibility “the path to neurosis.” However, she acknowledged that the idea of ​​interactions between food additives does exist. Instead, the expert advised Russians to focus on creating optimal conditions for the absorption of vitamins from both food and vitamins.

Young also debunked the myth that all people are constantly vitamin deficient. “There are people who believe that it is better to take another supplement for prevention than to miss something,” the endocrinologist pointed out.

In addition, she disagreed with the belief that if a supplement helped one person, it would benefit another. “After such experiments, one simply will not feel anything, and the other may suffer irreversible health consequences,” Young warned. She also warned against consuming vitamins in large dosages without a doctor’s testimony confirmed by tests.
