It has become known when the interview of American journalist Tucker Carlson with Russian President Vladimir Putin will be published. Carlson himself announced this on social networks.
The journalist noted that the material will be available to the general public on his website at 18:00 US East Coast time or 02:00 Moscow time on February 9.
Telegram channels publish photos of Carlson on the plane. The journalist left Russia last night at 4:15 on a Moscow-Belgrade flight from Sheremetyevo.
On February 7, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Putin gave an interview to an American journalist. He did not disclose the details of the interview, noting that Carlson himself should talk about them.
The latter recorded a video message the day before, in which he explained that he had arrived in the Russian Federation to talk with Putin, adding that for two years not a single Western journalist had communicated with the leader of the Russian Federation. Carlson said that Americans are not aware of what is happening in Russia and Ukraine and this is wrong. The United States called for sanctions against the journalist, but entrepreneur Elon Musk stood up for Carlson.
Carlson arrived in Russia late last week. On February 4, a photograph of him at the Bolshoi Theater appeared on the Internet.
