“Extremely dangerous chatter”: Medvedev threatened “the end of everything” in case of war with NATO

The military potentials of Russia and NATO are incomparable, and if a full-scale conflict breaks out, there will be no fighting in the trenches—nuclear weapons will be used. This opinion was expressed by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev on Telegram.

He added that Russia “simply will have no choice.”

“All European leaders cynically lie to their citizens. If, God forbid, such a war happens, it will not go according to the SVO scenario. It will not be carried out in the trenches using artillery, armored vehicles, drones and electronic warfare equipment. NATO is a huge military bloc, the population of the Alliance countries is almost 1 billion people, and their total military budget can reach one and a half trillion dollars,” Medvedev recalled. “Ballistic and cruise missiles with special warheads will be used. <…> And this is the very notorious Apocalypse. The end of everything,” added the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council.

“And although Russia has repeatedly spoken about the absence of plans for a conflict with NATO and EU countries, extremely dangerous chatter on this topic continues,” Medvedev noted, recalling that recently many Western politicians have stated the need to be prepared for a conflict with Russia.

This is how the West is trying to distract voters “in order to justify multi-billion dollar spending on the hateful Bandera Ukraine,” Medvedev explained and called on European politicians to “tell their voters the bitter truth, and not hold them up as brainless idiots.”
