The organizers of “Invasion” have postponed the rock festival in the Kaluga region to 2025, according to the community’s official page on VKontakte. The festival has not been held since 2019.
According to the organizers, it is “especially painful” to cancel “Invasion” in the year of the festival’s 25th anniversary. However, at the moment it is impossible to ensure the proper level of security and peace of mind – there are risks for both fans and artists. Therefore, the most constructive decision was to move the date to a later date, the organizers wrote.
It is noted that purchased tickets will not have to be returned. They will be available for use in 2025.
Last year “Invasion” also did not take place. Then the authorities of the Kaluga region spoke about the inappropriateness of the holiday in the context of hostilities on the territory of Ukraine.
Let us remind you that the legendary rock festival “Invasion” has been held with the support of “Our Radio” since 1999. The record among guests was set in 2019 – the event was attended by approximately 200 thousand people. Among the festival participants over the years were “Time Machine”, “Aquarium”, DDT, “Bi-2”, “Nogu cramped!” and other classics of Russian rock music.
