With three administrations of the EpiVacCorona-N (Aurora-CoV) vaccine, almost 100% of the volunteers retain antibodies to COVID-19 after six months.
As Interfax was told at the Vector Research Center, with three vaccinations, the proportion of volunteers with a positive reaction to EpiVacCorona-N antigens on day 42 is 93%, reaching a maximum value of 100% on day 21 after the third immunization (102 days). After 180 days, it drops to 98%.
At the same time, the proportion of volunteers vaccinated twice with a positive reaction to antigens by the 180th day of observation was 81%.
Earlier, the Chumakov Center began the development of another anticoid vaccine based on virus-like particles in insect cells.
As a reminder, the vaccines Sputnik V, EpiVacCorona, KoviVak, Sputnik Light and EpiVacCorona-N are now registered in Russia. None of them are recognized by WHO.
According to the latest VTsIOM poll conducted last week, only 42% of Russians were vaccinated against covid. EMore than 27% of the respondents assured that they are going to be vaccinated. Thus, 69% of Russians have either received or are planning to get vaccinated.
