Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip

The Shiite radical movement “Islamic Resistance of Iraq” attacked the Israeli port in the city of Ashdod, the Hindustan Times newspaper reports. Radicals attacked Israel using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Iraq has previously launched strikes on Israeli territory. This time, the Islamic Resistance of Iraq provided video evidence of the attack. The strike came days after the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) destroyed a group of Iraqi militants in the Golan Heights.

However, the Israeli government has not yet had an official reaction to the attack on Ashdod.

Let us remind you that the Islamic Resistance of Iraq supports Hamas in the war against Israel. The movement endorsed the October 7 invasion and promised to help Palestinian radicals fight against the IDF.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly stated that the country will wage war against terrorists in order to achieve complete victory. Netanyahu believes that the Gaza Strip should no longer pose a threat to Israeli citizens, so anti-terrorist operations will continue until all goals are fully achieved. The Prime Minister also stressed that Israel wants to destroy Hamas, including the organization’s leadership, so as not to face similar threats in the future.
