Later, the US command named air defense systems and warehouses as targets for attacks on Yemen – 60 targets were attacked.

The head of Central Command, General Michael Kurilla, noted that the United States considers “Houthi militants and their Iranian sponsors responsible for an unlawful attack on international shipping that affected 55 countries and endangered the lives of hundreds of sailors, including from the United States.”

In turn, Houthi representatives said that the strikes hit several targets in Yemen, including the Al-Daylami airbase north of the capital Sanaa, an area near Hodeidah International Airport in western Yemen, a Houthi base in Saada province in the north of the country, an airport Taiz in the southwest, the airport in the city of Abs in the northwest, RBC clarifies.
