The central districts of the Northern capital remain the leaders in terms of the number of violations in snow removal. The Rosbalt correspondent was informed about this by the State Housing Inspectorate of St. Petersburg.
Since November 30, the department has checked almost 2.2 thousand residential addresses and found violations in 661 of them, that is, in 30% of cases. The main remarks relate to cleaning the roofs of buildings and clearing the exits from the front doors from snow.
“The largest number of violations in percentage terms was revealed in the central districts of St. Petersburg. This is due to the fact that the housing stock of the central regions has its own characteristics, in particular, most of the houses have complex architectural elements on the facades and roofs, which in turn is an obstacle to timely and quick snow removal (some types of work require the help of climbers) “, – explained the Deputy Chief State Housing Inspector of St. Petersburg Yuri Kuzin.
As a reminder, the central regions were recognized as the worst in snow removal on December 9th. In the past few days, several townspeople have suffered from falling icicles.
