Residents of Belgorod were offered two options for moving to a safe place

The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported that he was receiving requests from local residents asking for help to go to a safe place.

The head of the region admitted that “the situation in Belgorod continues to be difficult.” According to him, after the shelling of Belgorod, people “are very worried about their property, about their cars, about their own lives, about the lives of their loved ones.”

The official urged everyone who wants to move to the safest place to contact the reception of the governor of the Belgorod region, the reception of the mayor of the Belgorod city administration Valentin Demidov, or by calling “122” or “112”. “You need to report that you are ready to leave. Today we are ready to transport you to Stary Oskol and Gubkin, where you will be in fairly comfortable conditions, in warm and safe rooms,” Gladkov wrote in his Telegram channel.

He assured future settlers that they would be able to stay in the new place “as long as necessary.” The governor also announced his readiness to contact his colleagues – the heads of other regions – if there are not enough places in temporary accommodation centers in the Belgorod region.

Let us remind you that on December 30, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the center of Belgorod, killing 24 people and injuring 108 people.
