Google threatens to fire employees who have not been vaccinated against coronavirus. Those who disobey this order before January 18, 2022, will be sent on paid administrative leave for 30 days, CNBC reported.
If the company’s employees do not have time to get vaccinated in 30 days, they will be sent on unpaid leave for six months, and after this period they will be fired.
Exceptions are provided only for workers who have medical treatment facilities, as well as for those who refuse to vaccinate due to religious beliefs.
Earlier, the Joe Biden administration issued a decree providing for vaccinations or regular testing of employees of companies that employ more than 100 people until January 18. A federal court suspended the order, which does not prevent individual companies from announcing the layoffs of unvaccinated employees or refusing to pay them hospital benefits in the event of treatment for COVID-19.
