“Attack from the air”: more than 30 drones flew into Russian regions

Four regions of Russia came under drone attack last night. According to the Ministry of Defense, air defense systems destroyed and intercepted 32 drones overnight.

The drones were shot down over the Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk and Moscow regions.

According to the department, Ukraine attempted to attack targets on Russian territory using aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles, the Ministry of Defense reported in the Telegram.

Including 13 rockets shot down over the Belgorod region, one was killed and four were wounded, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said. He added that the water supply system in Belgorod was damaged. According to him, the man died when one shell directly hit a private house. A 10-year-old child has a shrapnel wound, a woman also has a shrapnel wound in the temporal region, one man has shrapnel wounds to the head, and the second has a concussion. All victims were taken to the hospital. Destruction was recorded in 10 private houses.

At the same time, at night in the Bryansk region, six drones were destroyed over Bryansk and the Bryansk region, noted Alexander Bogomaz.

The day before, on December 29, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported 50 group and one massive strike on Ukraine from December 23 to 29. It was clarified that objects of the military-industrial complex, military airfield infrastructure, as well as arsenals, storage sites for artillery ammunition, unmanned boats, weapons and fuel for military equipment were attacked. Ukrainian authorities reported deaths and injuries.
