Delegates to the congress of the Moscow Trade Union Council supported the nomination of Alexandra Tishchenko for the post of president

On December 24, the first congress of the territorial free trade union “Moscow Council of Trade Unions” opened in Moscow, at which Alexandra Tishchenko was nominated as a candidate for the presidential elections in Russia.

About a thousand delegates registered at the congress. Representatives of the trade union discussed the main tasks for the coming period, as well as the issue of supporting the nomination of Tishchenko as a candidate for the presidential elections, which will be held next year. The delegates unanimously supported Tishchenko’s nomination, and 700 signatures were collected in her support.

Let us recall that on December 23, the head of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova, announced that there are already 29 active candidates for the presidential election. Today there is one more contender.

For the last two days, politician Alexandra Tishchenko, who was urgently hospitalized with poisoning, was under strict medical supervision. The politician’s supporters were worried that she would not be able to attend the meeting with voters due to health reasons. However, despite her body not fully strengthened, Alexandra Tishchenko did not miss this meeting.

In her welcoming speech, the candidate paid special attention to the development of trade unions and improvement of the education system. Tishchenko expressed confidence that an important aspect in changing the country’s social responsibility is, among other things, the development of the scientific environment and education, as well as trade unions.

“The educational system of our country requires serious reform. We must restore the education system to Soviet standards, where teacher and student have direct dialogue and teaching methods are the same throughout the country. It is important that schools stimulate the development of the unique abilities of each child, and that parents have the opportunity to actively participate in the educational process of their children,” Tishchenko noted.

The first woman president will change not only the face of Russia, but also its global and diplomatic status, many of the politician’s supporters are sure.

Journalists present at the congress spoke with Tishchenko’s supporters during a break in the event.

“The work that Alexandra Evgenievna does, including as a public figure and a representative of the parent committee, speaks of her involvement in the problems of the education system, which comes first in our country. We believe that today Russia needs a complete modernization of the education system, and no one will solve this problem better than Tishchenko,” one of the voters shared his opinion.

“If we look carefully at what is happening in our culture, we will understand that everything starts with the education system. As long as there are such “parties” by Ivleeva, culture will degrade as much as possible, and there is practically no leverage or change for this. If the education system were different, then the values would be different. No one would allow themselves to arrange what is happening to our culture today,” another voter continued with slight indignation, noting that he shares Tishchenko’s program, including in terms of returning the Soviet education system.

Let us remind you that the presidential elections in Russia are scheduled for March 2024. Voting in the presidential elections will take place for the first time over three days, from March 15 to 17. According to the head of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova, Russians supported this voting format. Nomination of candidates from parties takes place from December 7 to January 1, self-nomination – until December 27.
