The Governor of St. Petersburg at VDNH in Moscow assessed the achievements and prototypes of the latest developments of Belarusian scientists. The new exposition presented in the pavilion of the Republic of Belarus is timed to coincide with the international exhibition and forum “Russia”. The exhibits tell about the achievements of Belarusian science, and also introduce joint Russian-Belarusian developments that have appeared in recent years.
In addition, as a RosBalt correspondent reports, Alexander Beglov discussed with the State Secretary of the Union State of Russia and Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev the prospects for cooperation of St. Petersburg with Belarusian partners. According to the head of the Northern capital, Belarus remains a reliable friend and partner of Russia. “We have common values. We have a common history. We are consistently continuing the line set by the presidents of our countries – expanding cooperation, increasing contacts,” Beglov noted.
The exhibition in the pavilion of the Republic of Belarus demonstrates the introduction of modern technologies in agriculture, medicine and other industries. The authors of the exhibition note that it contains technologies that are of interest to specialists, but at the same time they tell interesting facts to ordinary visitors.

Among the exhibits is a prototype of a Belarusian electric roadster, created by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, which can travel 270 kilometers without recharging. Also attracting the attention of exhibition guests is a manned mini-helicopter, an agricultural drone for applying fertilizers, and a Burevestnik drone. Another promising development created within the framework of the Union State programs is a satellite model and a compact supercomputer.
In addition, the pavilion houses a model of the National Library building, which is made on a scale of 1:70. Many compare this building to a huge diamond. A copy was made from potassium by employees of the Berezovsky mine, which is located in Soligorsk.
The exposition presented these days in the pavilion of the Republic of Belarus pays special attention to projects and developments that are being implemented jointly with the Russian Federation, and also talks about the intermediate achievements of joint union programs.
