Beglov promised to fulfill the dreams of children who left cards on the “Wish Tree” at the “Russia” exhibition at VDNKh

Alexander Beglov took part in the charity event “Christmas Tree of Wishes” as part of St. Petersburg Day at the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” at VDNKh in Moscow. The governor of the Northern capital removed several cards from the New Year tree with wishes from children from St. Petersburg and Mariupol.

“The envelopes contain the dreams of children from large or low-income families, children who have health limitations. Every year I take part in this good action. This year I shot six postcards. They were sent by guys from St. Petersburg and Mariupol. Promotions like this are important. They show the children that there are people who will come to their aid and make their cherished dreams come true,” the governor emphasized.

As it turned out, for the New Year the guys asked for a synthesizer and sneakers, a microscope, a drawing set, a piano bench, and also the opportunity to visit the Match-TV studio during a game with Zenit. Beglov promised that Santa Claus would definitely fulfill all these wishes.

It should be noted that on the eve of the New Year holidays, charity events, during which the authorities help children fulfill their cherished desires, are carried out on the initiative of the president in all regions of the country.

In St. Petersburg, as the governor recalled, every year they organize a city charity event “Tree of Wishes.” New Year trees with postcards on which children share their dreams are installed in Smolny, in the Nevsky Town Hall, in the Legislative Assembly, as well as in the administrations of all districts. In addition, “magic trees” are installed at fairs on Manezhnaya and Palace Squares.
