You can lose weight without exhausting diets and without denying yourself sweets. This was stated by nutritionist Katerina Kuzina, writes “Evening Moscow”.
The nutritionist is confident that strict diets that avoid sweets only provoke malnutrition and contribute to severe stress. This way you will definitely not be able to get rid of excess weight.
Kuzina claims that even on a diet, you can “safely allocate 150–300 calories per day to sweets in your diet.” Additionally, it is best to eat desserts after protein meals to avoid sudden fluctuations in blood sugar levels.
The specialist believes that it is also important to find a healthier alternative. For example, instead of ready-made sweets from the store, it is better to eat natural products in the form of fruits, dried fruits, berries, dark chocolate, natural marshmallows and marshmallows.
And if you have a craving for sweets, it is advisable to master some healthy recipes and prepare sweets yourself, which will not contain waste and artificial additives present in ready-made dessert products, says the specialist.
Finally, Kuzina suggests conducting an experiment – stopping eating sweets for two to three weeks. She admits that it will not be easy, but if she manages not to relapse, then, in her opinion, after this, her attitude towards sweets will change – and she will no longer want it as much as before.
