Alexey Butakov, the actor who played one of the members of the Universam group, shared his impressions of working on the series. He told the online publication “Moscow Region Today” that there were about 800 applicants for the main role, including himself. He wanted to play Marat, but did not pass the selection. Initially, Marat was supposed to be part of the gang, but then he was replaced by Andrey, and they swapped places.

Nikita Kologrivy and Ivan Yankovsky, who played Koshchei and Vova Adidas, have already become famous and experienced actors. But they were always open to newcomers. According to Butakov, they did not refuse to take photographs with those who asked them to do so.

— The most memorable moment for me was the scene with the safe, when Vova Adidas, performed by Yankovsky, opened it with the boys. He pulled out a loaded revolver, and it was very scary. I was afraid that he would shoot. But everything ended well,” said Alexey Butakov. — If the series continues and remains for a second season, I will try to qualify again.
