From the beginning of 2024, the cost of living for minors will be increased. In Moscow it will be 19,586 rubles; in the regions there will also be an increase of almost 1,000 rubles. In this regard, the allowance for the birth and raising of a child will increase, the online publication “Moscow Region Today” clarifies.
A payment of 10 thousand rubles for caring for a disabled child will also be introduced. Parents or guardians who work part-time will receive it. Previously, only non-working parents and guardians were entitled to such a payment.
In a number of regions of Russia, incentive payments for the birth of a child will be available. For example, in the Leningrad region it will be 35 thousand rubles for the first child, 45 thousand rubles for the second and 60 thousand rubles for the third. These payments will be separate and not related to government payments or maternity capital.
Finally, pensions will be increased from 2024. If the pension is below the subsistence level, the pensioner will receive a social supplement. In this case, the total pension amount will reach the subsistence level.
