Sometimes after losing weight, the weight soon returns. Nutritionist Liliya Starodubtseva explained why this could happen, writes Gazeta.ru.
According to the expert, extra pounds are usually associated with other miso health problems. Therefore, losing weight is a struggle only with a visible disorder, and you need to deal with the reasons for the appearance of extra pounds: for example, bringing hormones back to normal.
The expert advised to first figure out what caused the weight gain. To do this, you need to check the condition of the gastrointestinal tract, thyroid and adrenal glands, and lymphatic system.
“For example, if a person has bile stagnation and the functioning of the gallbladder is impaired, the absorption of nutrients will be worse, and the risk of fungal and parasitic infections increases. In this case, the feeling of hunger will occur more often, and the volume of food will increase. And fungal infection leads not only to weight gain, but also to unhealthy eating habits. So, the fungus causes an irresistible craving for sweets and starchy foods,” explained the nutritionist.
To lose weight, you need to get the following hormones in order – insulin, leptin, ghrelin. An integrated approach will also be effective in losing weight. In addition, the doctor advised to exclude foods that cause spikes in blood sugar.
