As the press service of the All-Russian Popular Front reported, a ton of plastic dishes for the military who are in hospitals arrived successfully. In addition, all necessary food products were delivered to local residents.
The collection of humanitarian aid in St. Petersburg continues – anyone can send a parcel to the soldiers who are now on the front line, the ONF press service noted. Humanitarian aid is accepted at 82 Marata Street, office 6.

It should be noted that the authorities of St. Petersburg also plan to increase the amount of social assistance to participants in the special military operation and their families – 5 billion rubles will be allocated for one-time payments. In addition, 145 families of veterans have already been provided with housing, and another 423 families are registered. Families of fighters will receive 155 apartments in the Northern capital by the end of this year.
In addition, deputies of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg developed a bill providing for the preferential right of all combat veterans, regardless of the basis on which they were awarded this status, to receive social benefits for the purchase or construction of housing. The initiative of the St. Petersburg parliamentarians was supported by the Russian government.
Let us also recall that since June 1, a branch of the state fund for supporting participants of the Northern Military District “Defenders of the Fatherland”, created on the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has been operating in St. Petersburg. In collaboration with the St. Petersburg Committee for Culture, the foundation is engaged in the cultural socialization of military veterans.
