According to the expert, many people make several of the most common mistakes in organizing their breakfast. In particular, a mistaken decision is to have fruit for breakfast, especially bananas. They contain large amounts of sugar, which can cause your blood glucose levels to spike early in the day and then lead to a rapid and dramatic drop in energy. To prevent this from happening, the nutritionist recommended combining bananas and healthy fats.

Another mistake is not drinking enough fluids in the morning. At this time, sufficient fluid helps thin the blood and improve the general condition of the body. Therefore, it is worth getting into the habit of drinking a glass of warm water immediately after waking up.

And finally, the wrong decision is to have instant cereals for breakfast. The processing method eliminates the preservation of the nutritional value of the cereal, and a large amount of sugar, flavor enhancers, various additives and artificial flavors do not make such porridge healthy, the specialist emphasizes.
