Advisor to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Mikhail Podolyak, said that irritation has accumulated in Ukrainian society, TASS reports, citing his interview published on YouTube.
According to Podolyak, Ukrainians also have many “difficult questions” – “how, where, why, at what cost,” despite the fact that citizens observe that part of the government at all levels “is not as invested in the war as society itself.” In particular, we are talking about corruption. “This is all such a heavy burden, because there was no breakthrough along the front line,” he noted, describing the state of society as depression.
At the same time, Podolyak denied the existence of a conflict between President Vladimir Zelensky and the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, which major foreign media have been writing about for several weeks.
Let us note that Ukrainian publications also report disagreements between the Ukrainian president and the head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, the other day “Strana.ua” wrote that Zelensky wants to hold elections in Ukraine, but without Zaluzhny’s participation, and if guarantees of the commander-in-chief’s non-participation in the elections are not received, he will try to fire him with “maximum discredit.” In addition, Verkhovna Rada deputy from the ruling Servant of the People party Maryana Bezuglaya directly accused Zaluzhny of having no plans for further action, and also held him and his generals responsible for the failures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
