In the last month of the outgoing year, a number of cities will experience large amounts of precipitation. As the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand predicts, December will be snowy in 26 regions of Russia.
More snow than usual will fall in the Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kemerovo, Kurgan, Kursk, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Rostov, Ryazan, Samara, Saratov, Tambov, Tomsk, Tula, Ulyanovsk and Chelyabinsk regions, as well as in the Altai and Krasnodar Territory, in Adygea, Crimea, Stavropol Territory, Tyva, Khakassia and in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
At the same time, the forecaster expects a deficit of precipitation in the Arkhangelsk, Magadan and Murmansk regions, in the Nenets and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs, in the Kamchatka Territory, in Chukotka, as well as in the northern half of Yakutia and the north of the Khabarovsk Territory.
December will be cold in the Voronezh, Moscow and Chelyabinsk regions, as well as in Crimea. Temperatures will be below normal in Karelia, Vologda, Leningrad, Novgorod, Pskov and Tver regions.
A warmer than usual December is predicted in the Astrakhan, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Rostov regions, as well as in the Altai and Krasnodar territories, Tyva, Khakassia, Stavropol and the republics of the North Caucasus.
