Rospotrebnadzor told how to properly deliver food during a pandemic

Rospotrebnadzor has published the rules for the safe delivery of food to your home during the coronavirus pandemic.

As stated in a message published on the agency’s website, food delivery is a fairly popular service against the backdrop of the spread of coronavirus. The set of delivery rules states that couriers must use medical masks and gloves, treat their hands with an antiseptic, and also have a medical record with them and disinfect containers for transporting food.

When receiving an order, the department advises customers of deliveries to check product data, information about the weight and nutritional value of a portion, as well as the presence of the date of manufacture, expiration date and storage conditions in the accompanying documents.

In addition, it is recommended to pay for the order using a contactless method. The courier, in turn, according to the rules, is obliged to deliver the delivered food near the door, move away from the door at a distance of about 1.5 meters and report the delivery by phone.
