Tens of thousands of Vienna residents protest against compulsory vaccination

More than 44 thousand people took to the demonstration in Vienna on Saturday against restrictive measures and mandatory vaccinations against coronavirus. Many of them are vaccinated, but unhappy with the duress.

This is the second in a row a massive rally of opponents of compulsory vaccination, which takes place over the weekend.

As reported by RIA Novosti, the demonstrators carry posters with the words “Hands off our children!”, “Compulsory vaccination is a dictatorship,” “The virus will survive vaccination. And we? ”,“ Teachers against compulsory vaccination! ”,“ My body is my decision! No coercion to vaccinate! ”,“ For freedom ”, etc.

On November 22, Austria introduced a nationwide lockdown with a ban on leaving the house. It ends tomorrow for the vaccinated and ill, but for the unvaccinated, severe restrictions will remain. In addition, from February 1 in Austria, a law on compulsory vaccination for everyone living in Austria over 14 years old should come into force, non-compliance will face a fine of 3.6 thousand euros. This caused massive protests from citizens.
