The accumulation of troops near the borders of Ukraine is a “bell” not only for Kiev, but for the entire eastern flank of NATO, and the Baltic countries also feel a direct threat. This opinion was expressed by the President of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda, reports portal Delfi.

He made the statement after a past conversation with US President Joe Biden, in which the leaders of the Bucharest Nine countries took part,

“We stated that the likelihood of Russian aggression is very high, there are many signs that show that the worst scenario can also come true – a military intervention on the territory of a sovereign independent state. Together we must do everything to prevent this worst scenario, ”said the President of Lithuania.
