Investigators began checking a private kindergarten, from where the police took the children to the department, reports the press service of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Moscow.
The inspection is carried out under the article on the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements.
The day before, the Ministry of Internal Affairs began an investigation into a private kindergarten located in an apartment in a residential building on Kosmonavta Volkova Street. The department stated that the police received “a citizen’s appeal regarding the organization of an illegal kindergarten in the apartment.”
When officers arrived on scene, they found eight young children in the room. The police claim that they were accompanied by citizens who “were virtually not responsible for their lives and health.” The minors were taken to the territorial department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to be handed over to their parents.
The kindergarten where the police came was opened a month and a half ago, Ivan Sorokin, the founder of the Smile Fish kindergarten chain, told RBC and noted that this point was organized in the apartment in accordance with SanPiN standards. He called the police actions arbitrary. According to him, he brought the necessary permits from the network’s head office, for which he was given an hour, but the police still took the children to the station.
