In the Moscow region, a man armed with a machete wounded two passers-by on the street.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 8, on Kirov Street in Lyubertsy. It was established that the attacker attacked a 38-year-old woman and a 14-year-old teenager, the press service of the Moscow Region Prosecutor’s Office reported.
In turn, the press service of the Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow Region noted that the attack was committed near the bailiffs’ building. “Seeing what was happening, a bailiff and an employee of the department of execution of punishment neutralized and detained the man,” the department said in a statement.
Based on the incident, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 30 p. “a, and” part 2 art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder of two persons for hooligan motives). The attacker turned out to be a local resident born in 1987. According to the Telegram channel “112”, the suspect lives near the scene of the incident and was previously convicted of petty crimes, street fighting and theft.
The injured woman and teenager were taken to hospital. Investigators and criminologists from the Investigative Committee are examining the scene of the incident, after which a series of examinations will be ordered, the department added.
Earlier it was reported that a bag of human bones was found in a well in St. Petersburg.
