Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov announced a competition on his VKontakte account. Its winners will be awarded a trip to the international exhibition and forum “Russia”, which opened on National Unity Day at VDNKh.
As follows from the publication, the idea of the competition came to the governor after visiting a large-scale exhibition of the main achievements of Russia, at which St. Petersburg was represented by an impressive multimedia stand.
“The multimedia exposition of St. Petersburg is decorated with separated spans of the bridge, here guests can go on a virtual journey along our rivers and canals. The immersive effect was realized using an interactive floor, on which visitors can leave their footprints on the shores of the Gulf of Finland, stroll through the autumn foliage of the Summer Garden, and skate on the ice of the Neva. We prepared master classes, lectures, quests, autograph sessions with famous St. Petersburg residents and prize drawings,” Beglov noted.
Another feature of the exposition of the Northern capital was that for its implementation projects were used that received the greatest support from citizens, including the Museum of the Defense and Siege of Leningrad, the Scarlet Sails alumni festival, SKA Arena Lakhta Center, Unified Card Petersburger” and others.
According to the governor, other regions of Russia also presented very interesting stands. “The exhibition is a must-visit! It’s interesting to see how much has changed in the country in recent years. It makes me proud to see how talented and hardworking our people are,” Beglov noted, inviting the townspeople to take part in the competition.
