Actress Angelina Jolie condemned Israel for bombing the Gaza Strip. She devoted another post to this topic on her social network.

Jolie called what is happening in the Gaza Strip “a deliberate bombing of a population that is trapped and has nowhere to escape.” “Gaza has been an open-air prison for almost two decades and is now quickly becoming a mass grave,” the actress wrote, adding that 40% of those killed were children.

“While the whole world is watching, and many governments are actively supporting, millions of Palestinian civilians – children, women, families – are being collectively punished,” the actress emphasized, adding that ordinary Lyulis are deprived of food, medicine and humanitarian aid.

Jolie believes that world leaders are also involved in crimes against civilians. “By refusing to demand a humanitarian ceasefire and blocking the UN Security Council from imposing one on one or both sides, world leaders are complicit in these crimes,” the actress wrote.

Note that Jolie is a former goodwill ambassador and former special envoy of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.

According to the latest data, almost 9 thousand people have been killed amid the fighting between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, about 70% of them are women and children. 22.2 thousand were injured. In Israel, since the beginning of the conflict, 1.4 thousand have died and 5.4 thousand have been injured.
