President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that European countries themselves create a “cult of Russia” when they constantly talk about what a powerful state it is. The Ukrainian leader expressed this opinion in an interview with 1 + 1 TV channel.
“I spoke frankly about this to our European colleagues as well. They all say: Russia is very powerful. She’s strong. And who makes it? All of you when you are afraid of these challenges. (…). And then the President of the Russian Federation believes that Russia can do what it wants, ”Zelensky is quoted as saying by UNIAN.
“We do it ourselves all the time. We ourselves are constantly creating a cult, ”he added.
At the same time, the President of Ukraine believes that it is impossible to escalate the situation regarding the offensive of the Russian troops.
Earlier, in an interview, Zelensky did not rule out the possibility of holding a referendum on the status of Donbass.
Recall that over the past month, the world media has filled the topic of the alleged Russian invasion of Ukraine and the sanctions that should follow.
